Goulet who turns 60 next months, is at the center of the production. With that magnificent vocal instrument he has the ability to shake a rafter or two, as he does with the chorus of how to handle a woman. It is difficult at first to adjust to Goulet as King Arthur, After all, he made an indelible impression on the role of Lancelot, which launched his career three decades ago. Still, the 59-year old Goulet plays the reluctant king with a youthful exuberance, and the maturing king with a will and passion.
