Dear Vera:
Please convey to Robert that he has been and will continue to be in my daily prayers until he is fully recovered. I say an extra one for you as I know firsthand how difficult it has been on you, for I too have been in this position with a loved one. May God be with Robert through this journey and safely deliver him back to us all so he may once again sing for the world to hear his glorious voice.
Daniel Griffin / Las Vegas
On our honeymoon in 1962, my wife and I saw you on Broadway as Lancelot. A few years ago we saw you again in Nashville as King Arthur. Thanks for sharing your talent. We'll pray for you. Incidentaly, as an arborist, I have pruned Jim and Toni Fogelsong's Japanese Maple tree.

I am sending thoughts and prayers for your recovery.

We have enjoyed your beautiful, strong voice for many years. My husband and I sang and played in our own band (local) for 25 years, and in other area bands. I have Interstitial Lung Disease (diagnosed in 1999), Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis.
I take medication and have oxygen. My husband still plays and sings every chance he gets.
People love you. Keep your faith strong. Follow the doctors’ directions. Your beautiful wife loves you and is devoted to you.
We hold you close to our hearts. Stay positive!
Love,
Mary and Billy Pogue
Dear Robert, Vera and Family,
I grew up listening to your incredible voice, dreaming the dreams you weaved in Camelot, Brigadoon and in so many songs which soared from your throat.
Hang in there! If God has more work for you to do on earth, then you will be here to do it, no matter the prognosis.
You are all in my prayers.
With love and blessings,

Hello Vera,
I was saddened by the news of Robert's health problems. It seems that your strength and optimism is what he needs now, and counts on every day. I wanted to let you know that my prayers are with Robert and your family. I hope to see him performing at the Shubert again, and of course would love to be his dresser, it's always a pleasure working with both of you.

With Christmas fastly approaching I always get a good feeling when I hear that first Christmas song by Mr. Goulet come over the radio or the tape loop at the busy department store. It firmly and officially plants my frame of mind in the season. I wish him and his family happiness and good reason to celebrate this year and the many years to come.
Steve
Vera,
All our best wishes and prayers go out to the both of you, in this most trying of times. Roberts phone calls and support surrounding my brothers illness and subsequent death meant the world to my parents and the rest of Joe's family. Here is hoping that Robert will have a fully successful recovery from his illness. Joe conducted and played for a number of celebrities in his life, but as far as I am concerned, none of them had the class and talent that Robert possesses. I'll never forget the time he came to my parents house for dinner, and my mother warned him NOT to break her meatballs, as he sampled her sauce. The Man, The Legend., The Voice... That is Robert Goulet, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting.
All our Love and prayers,
Steve Galante & the Entire Galante Family
Hi Vera,
I just wanted you to know that I’m thinking about you and Robert and praying for you both.
I didn’t know about Robert’s illness until Wednesday. I’m devastated. I just can’t believe it. I feel like a family member is going through this.
Please take care of yourself. Robert is in a great hospital with a lot of people caring for him, but you have to take care of yourself so you can be there for him.
You both will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Both my Mom and I send our love.

Dear Family and especially Vera,
What a magical voice and miraculous talent belong to Robert. He has brought me many years of listening joy.
I would love a photo but would understand if you are too busy. I will be praying for you to have strength at this difficult time.

As I have emailed and written in a note to Vera at the hospital I was part of a group of employees from Syracuse University at the hotel in Syracuse NY while you both were there eating lunch. We have all spoken about our thought and memories of Robert's music and performances. Again, I would like to tell you that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My prayers are with one of the funniest men and greatest singers in the history of show business, I grew up being so impressed with your vocal abilities and your passion for singing. Seeing you in the naked gun film, only reinforced what I have seen on other TV shows you truly are one of the great entertainers Mr. Goulet.
I hope you are with us for many, many years to come, I hgope to see you on a mnillion more TV shows, and hear that beautiful voice coming over the radio. God Bless
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Goulet:
You have the thoughts and prayers of more than a million men and women of
the Moose fraternal organization behind you as you face your greatest battle
together.
Of all dozens of top-level showmen who have taken the stage to perform for a
crowd of 4,000 at our organization's International Convention over the last
15 years, only Robert Goulet saw fit to remove his stage makeup and, along
with Mrs. Goulet, join our rank-and-file membership to relax and visit in
the hotel restaurant for more than an hour after his performance, in Toronto
in July 1998. We will always remember him with great admiration for that --
along with, of course, his outstanding performance that evening.
And from me personally, blessed with a decent enough voice to perform at
local weddings and football games, here is a heartfelt wish for a full
recovery . . . to the most magnificent baritone there ever was.
May God be with both of you --
Kurt Wehrmeister,
Director/Communications & Public Affairs, Moose International
Of course I do not know you but I was in a dinner theatre performance with Nikki in the 70’s on Long Island NY
My prayers are with you and your family today and forever!

Hi Vera I have been a fan of your husbands for a long time now, I am 45

with a song. My thoughts are with you now and Robert. He is one of the all
time greats and we need him to keep bringing joy to people with his great

Your voice and smile and bravado gave me many happy times as a kid an as an an adult. I saw you in The Happy Time. My family met you 3 times at the Schubert theater in New Haven. You marked my daughter Katie on the forehead with a marker and sang her Katie, ka-ka-Kayte. She has never forgotten it.
Our prayers are with you Arthur, Lance and the countless others you have brought to us.
One of your fans!
Dear Mr. Goulet,
I am 51 years old and have been a fan since I was 4! I even kept a scrapbook during the 60's and 70's(I still have it). I have seen you perform countless times in the Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland areas. The 1st time I saw you was at the Shady Grove Theater(in the round) in Maryland. I was fortunate enough to see you afterwards and get your autograph(I think I was 11). When I walked up to you, you said "Hello, love". I nearly fainted!
You are an extraordinary man and performer. I am so very grateful you introduced musical theater to a young girl in the 60's. I have a beautiful daughter who just graduated from the Catholic University of America with a Bachelor of Music degree with a major in Musical Theater. I know her love of the theater stems from the love and joy you brought into my life.
I am sending you my most sincere wishes and I will keep you in my daily prayers.
With much love and admiration,
Roxanne Romani
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Goulet,
My prayers are with you in this difficult time. A voice like Mr. Goulet’s will go on forever with his recordings and I pray that he will get his new lungs and sing, as he said “until I am 100”.
Regards,
Susan Davis
I was diagnosed with Interstitial Lung disease with pulmonary fibrosis 4 years ago now. All my prayers are with you for a speedy match.
As my cousins often remind me, most of us can live with one lung. they have all volunteered (and there are 50 of them) as living donors. Although I am not yet eligible for a transplant.
God Bless you,
Marie Hallanan
Never would he leave us – My prayers are with you both. Also to the woman who lost her father to the same disease. God bless you.

Mrs. Goulet:
I wanted to express my concern for and thanks to Mr. Goulet. I am a police
officer in South Carolina, and over the course of 26 years in this business
I have seen my share of the unpleasantries of this world. I have often been
on the verge of becoming callous and indifferent. It was especially during
those times that I would go home after getting off duty and put one of Mr
Goulet's CD's in the player to remind me that there is much beauty in the
world to appreciate. Through the years your husband's voice has helped to
make the hard times easier and the good times better.
Please know that you and he are in my prayers every day.

I will say a special prayer for you and your family during your time of need. You have given the world a lot of beautiful music.
Stay strong family is everything.

you'll pull through. You're in all of our prayers.

Vera,
When I heard the news I stopped everything and began this eMail.
It has been a while since you have been to Rhode Island, but When my prayers are answered you will be back and I will be at the edge of my seat as Robert's voice once again fills the Performing Arts Center. We have met several times over the years and Will again after one of Robert's shows.
Although we haven't spoken in a while Your Christmas Cards (which are on display in my office 365 days a year) and Robert's Christmas CD are always one of most touching parts of my Holiday Season.
I wish I could send a hug over the Internet, but since I can't, it will have to wait until I see you and Robert again.
FYI: I just sent an email to Cedars-Sinai that reads:
"Dear Cedars-Sinai Medical Center,
Please do all you can to get Mr. Goulet back on his feet and back to entertaining a World that certainly needs a diversion from all the struggles each day brings.
Eddie Pannone
Johnston, RI"
We just want Mr. Goulet to know that we are praying for angels to surround him during this time of serious health problems and we also pray for his complete and swift recovery. No one touches hearts with a song the way Mr. Goulet does and will continue to do.
God bless,
Jana Fedoriska & family
Dear Robert, Vera, and the rest of the family my heartfelt love is being sent to you by a girl, who 25 years ago just wanted to just bring a man a rose but instead it started a relationship with two very special man and woman.
The short version of my story is this. I went to at the Duneswith a rose to give Mr. G. Before the show I meet a lady named Gloria and she told me that if I didn't get a chance to give him the rose during the show then she would take me backstage to meet him. I never did get the chance to give him rose as fate would have it. I will never what they were wearing. He was in a blue jump suit and Vera was wearing white. This was the beginning of a friendhip forged one meeting.
The most surprising thing that happened a few months later was to receive an invitation to the wedding reception at the Seahorse Terrace at the Dunes.
Robert and Vera also took their part of their time and had pictures made we me and my family in Memphis when he was their in Camelot.
My wish is this that God will bring down his loving hand and help Mr.G get lung and soon and that he would wrap his arms around his family.
My love and Prayers to all of you.

I have been a fan since I was 14 years old. I am now 56. I saw you in person for the first time when I was 16 in Baltimore, Maryland. You came out into the audience and chose me to sing to "If I Could Be With You One Hour Tonight". The only problem was that I was so excited and thrilled that I didn't even hear you. I had to ask my mother what you sang to me. I have seen you in person many times since then. But, the first time will always be one of my biggest thrills.
I am putting you in my thoughts and prayers. Please get well. We need your beautiful voice. You will always be one of my favorite performers.
Love,

Hi from Melrose Florida. My mother, Mae Allain, saw you in Montreal many years ago and your voice has been in our home ever since. She is probably one of your biggest fans. I told her of your surgery and she said, "He'll make it through, I know he will." She wanted to send her love and to let you know that you're in our thoughts and prayers.
We are all in the surgery with you. Although you have the voice of an angel, we need you down here.
All of our love and strength to Vera. We're all praying with you.
We love you,

I am Wynn Wilkerson of Manor Texas. I am 58 years old and I was found to have pulmonary fibrosis and emphysema in January of 2001. My father died of lung cancer at the age of 50 as did his brother of the same cancer, at the same age two years before him. I was not surprised when we found it although I was a little upset. My mom got the pray warriors started and my lung doctor started me on prednisone (60 mg). He was able to convince my insurance to allow me to start injections in the stomach of a drug called Interferon Ib. I was to take 200mcm three times a week. The initial cost was $28,000.00 for a three month supply. I took these injections for a little over three years. The last order I placed was at a cost of $16,664.00. Now mind you, I didn’t have to pay for this due to my insurance. Anyway, I was ordered to quite taking them as we didn’t seem to find they were doing any good. But I came across an interesting health drink and attended on of there meetings. I did not want to get into something for the money; I wanted something for my lungs! The drink was called Xango. It is made using the entire Mangosteen fruit including the stem and all parts of the fruit. It is mixed with 7 or 8 other natural fruit juices and it tasted great. I have been taking three ounces, three times a day for over three years. You need to know that a year ago last February, a cat scan was done and it was found that the emphysema had consumed my entire right lung. I just had a cat scan done a month ago and it revealed that as the doctor said “the fibrosis is lying very quite, and what specs of emphysema can be seen, he was not even concerned with”. I feel that the Mangosteen juice has kept my lungs pliable, and was surprised to find it was aiding in removing the emphysema.
Now I believe the Mangosteen juice has given me great results; nothing can replace the pray warriors and positive attitude I have chosen to live with. God is still the Great Healer and can heal whoever he wishes. I have been a believer all my life and I am resting in his arms and at his mercy!
I am praying that God will act in a might way for Mr. Goulet and you his family! You need understanding why this has happened and where it is going. I pray that you will be given this information from God and he will also allow Mr. Goulet to rest in the comfort of Gods wonderful arms.
Thank you for allowing me to write you and I am not trying to save anyone, I just know what I know in my own faith.
You all are in my prayers!
Wynn Wilkerson
PS: I still get goose bumps when I listen to Camelot!!!
Back in the mid 90’s we had one of the most memorable nights of live theater ever. It was in Dayton Ohio and John Kenley had revived his wonderful summer theatre. We took our daughter who was 11 or 12 to see Robert Goulet in South Pacific. She still says that is a perfect night she will never forget and neither will we.
Please know you have fans that are praying each day for all of you.
Love and Prayers,
